SEAN DANTE JENKINS, also known as Seany Sean, is an American rapper/songwriter from Harlem, New York. Sean’s lifelong love of writing and the arts influenced both his interest and subsequent entry into hip-hop music and culture. His musical influences include Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G. as well as Big L, Cam’ron and 50 Cent.
In 2012, Sean auditioned for Hip-Hop unplugged, and out of the seventy auditioning artists, was chosen to perform live at Crash Mansion. The event was judged by several well-known industry executives, including Roc Nation’s VP of A&R, Lenny S., producers Easy Moe Bee, Jimi Kendrix, DJ Kay Slay, and MTV’s Sway of Sway in the morning at Shade 45.
Mr. Jenkins received praise for his performance. The Hip-Hop Unplugged Crash Mansion event produced additional opportunities at several New York City venues, including SOB’s, Bowery Poetry Club, and The Pyramid Club.
Seany Sean continues to write and market his mixtape, “Give me a reason EP”, which is available on all streaming platforms including Apple Music, Spotify, iHeartRadio, and Tidal with the single Blank’n Out produced by Loose Connxshun.
